I like to put a little piece of me in every painting. I use my photographs to bring paint to life on canvas. I don't just copy the photo, I interpret it, adding and subtracting as the painting unfolds. These interpretations can easily end up on a painting, linocut, or pastel drawing. Line is the most important component of my work, also black and white fascinates me. Notice a line of trees just at dusk or dawn.
