The Memorial Union Gallery was established in 1969-70 by NDSU Student Government. The Gallery hosts between 12-20 exhibitions a year, featuring regional, national and international artists. Hallmark gallery exhibitions include an annual juried themed exhibition, two Baccalaureate capstone exhibitions and new works by professional practicing artists. The MU Gallery encourages experimentation and interdisciplinary explorations through visual, literary, performance and colaborative projects. The MU Gallery also has a permanent collection of over 1,000 pieces of American contemporary art. The collection includes works by Frank Stella, Jasper Johns Judy Chicago, Star Wallowing Bull and Andy Warhol.

Hours: During the Semester are 8:00 am - 5 PM Monday-Friday, or by appointment after hours.
